This week, none of my recipes were working out for me. My baked beans turned out weird and gelatinous, I wasn't in the mood to make acorn squash souffle as planned over the weekend, and the attempt at pumpkin fudge was -- though delicious -- nothing at all like fudge. It was more like a pumpkin...sauce. So I'm taking a break this week. Cooking without writing things down. Not taking pictures of all of my food.
